Mr. Gtiille Is at his Tennessee home for the vacation. MARRIAGE OF MISS ROBINSON AND DR. GEORGE S. SMITH. Interesting to many friends, will he llte announcement of the marriage of Miss Annie Robinson, of Warrenton, and Dr. George H. Smith, of Swalns boro, Ga., which took place very quietly yesterday at the home of the bride's uncle ami aunt. Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Baker, f>o6 Greene Street, the ceremony being performed by Rev. J. B. Derrick. The bride was very lovely In a styl ish traveling suit of blue, worn with a small blue luit and other accessories to correspond. After the ceremony and congratulations, buffet refresh ments were served, after which Dr. and Mrs Smith left for Atlnnta to spend a sow days, before going to Swainsboro, whero they will occupy their own better home, which awsits them, having postponed their wedding trip North untll-mld-aummer. Miss Robinson Is a graduate of the Georgia Normal and Industrial Col lege, and also studied music for a I time at Shorter College In Rome. She is the handsome and attractive young, daughter of Mr. J. H. Robinson anil' her i opul .rlty extends from her home town throughout the state. Dr. Smith is one of the most prom | inent physicians in Sopth Georgia, i and very well known both In profee slonal snd octal circles. He and his bride will have on apart ment on Hast Fortieth Street, where they will begin housekeeping. —Friend* of Mrs Frank R. Carr will be most sympathetic on learning of the recent serious accident which has befallen her. Mrs. Carr had been to an evening party and on returning home, had the misfortune to catch the high heel of her evening shoe in her skirt and was thrown heavily to the floor, the fall breaking her arm and collar-bone While medical at tention was Immediate, and every thing 1* gettng along Just as well as could be expected, she Is still suffer ing greatly and will be confined to her home for aeveral weeks. —Mrs. D. Miss Flythe is visit ing friends in Savannah. Mlhh Dudle Hates has returned home for vacation after studying at Tallahassee College. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cohen' are now at Cohencrest for the summer. CITY PHILATHE ENJOY OUTING AT LANKEY’S. The City Union of Philatheas en joyed a delightful outing W Lankey's yesterday afternoon, a cool refreshing dip in the water being followed h.v a picnic supper served in the moonlight.
