It was In 1909 that the Lombard
Iron Works & Supply House t*ok on
the Ford agency. Every year since
then the automobile end of the busi
ness has been Increasingly prosper
ous it has grown until the compapny
Is one of the largest agencies doing
business under the Atlanta branch of
the Ford Motor Company. It has
grown until now Mr. George S. Lom
bard devotes all his time to handling
the Ford business. It has grown until

shall remain the triumphant trio of

Mr. J. B. Tyler, of Savannah, Ga.,
has been In McCormick for several
days, visiting among friends. “Boom

here about a year ago.

CANCEL BANANA RATES.
Washington, D. C+~ Increases proposed
by the Alabama and Vicksburg Railway
and other carriers In freight rates on
bananas from New Orleans, Galveston
and other gulf ports to Nebraska and
Kansas points, were cancelled today by
the Inter-state commerce commission.
The proposed higher rates previously had
been suspended by the commission until
July 13th, next.
