EIGHT COMSH SUBMITS “SHAW REPBRT” Sallie Pres't Reviews Augusta Difficulty at Meeting of the League in Savannah. Savannah, Ga.—At the meeting of the South Atlantic League here to day Presirien Nick Coriah submitted a report reviewing the difficulty with the Augusta club and reciting min utea oT previous meetings that h.* said justified him in the action ho took In the Shaw matter. He based his contention on the agreement of 3913, whereby a club wag limited to four experienced players and said that Rt the meeting of 1914 Kalb fleisch agreed to those conditions.' He stated further that he let Shaw flay In the Augusta-Culumbla series because it could not affect the league standing and the plea of the Augusta manager that he, had no club to play with otherwise. That at the time Kalbfleisch understood that he was to get rid of Shaw before coming to Savannah. That in the series here and under the agreement that Savan nah eculd protest the game but that Augusta could not, the rule being that only the last seven games of the series could he protested and then by a club which had a chance to win the iHtnnant. He stated that th< gusta club had acted in bad faith with the league particularly with re gard to taking care of the debt the Augusta dull owed and that several checks given in payment for this in debtedness had been turned down by bank because of insufficient funds.
