time, coming here from Missis

ence yesterday at the D. A R.
Fourth of July celebration. For
many years Mr. Keener hat done
this enjoyable feature of the
Fourth celebration, but for the
past few years has pot. He had
such ft delightful voice and every
syllable of the grand old Declara
tion was a* clear and (dean cut as

The Sandford Gardners are
building a bungalow on the Hill,
Just In the rear of the Htearnes
home, on a prettily wooded piece
of property. The house Is not
sufficiently advanced to get an
Idea of what It will look like, but
as Mrs. Gardner is both practi
cal and artistic, it gnes-wlthout
saylng that the bungalow will be
all that a bungalow can be, Mrs.
Gardner Is one of the few women
gifted with the ability of making
quick decision*. While attending,

motoring with a party of friends
and passed a suburban bungalow
that was so attractive she had the
chauffeur to stop. and. asking for
