New York. —In a statement assert ing that the National Baseball Com mission has violated the so-called Cincinnati agreement relating to the release of players to leagues of lower classification, the baaeball players’ fraternity, last night virtually defied the commission In the case of Clar ence O. Kraft, ordered by the commis sion to the Nashville club of the Southern League, but advised by the fraternity to play with the Newark Internationals. Newark is in a cir cuit rated higher than the Southern League and Kraft’s salary will be higher is he plays with Newark. Kraft .drafted last fall by Brooklyn from New Orleans was sent this sea son to Boston under the waiver rule. Boston In turn, planning to send KraTt to Rochester, asked waivers, and Brooklyn took him back and sent him to Newark. Nashville, In the snme league with New Orleans, claim ed Kraft before February Ist, and subsequently protested to the Nation al Commission against Brooklyn send ing him to Newark.
