The regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission will be held at lire headquarters tonight. There Is a number of matters to come before the commission and It is urged that every member be present. It Is understood that three mem bers of the police department will be put on trial this evening for violations of the rules of the department. Mr. Jno. C. Moore will be promoted from the position of private at fire company No. 1 to assistant foreman of that company.
