BROUTHERS OERICKED STONE AND THEREFORE WON GAME Timely “Yanking” of Collegian and Replacing Him With Win chell Was the Real Cause of Yesterday’s Game Being Won By Augusta By Score of 8 to 4—Clark Wslte the “Run- Producer” Yesterday. Macon.—Manager “Babe” Brouthers* outfit of Augusta Combaeks captured the first of the series yester day afternoon from the Tigers by the score of 8 to 4. Macon batsmen failed to hit several times with men on the bases and therefore the defeat. The locals started to scoring on Stone in the third inning, piling up two runs, and then two more in the fourth.
