Fatal Blow Over Head With
Shotgun; Family Row Cause
Mett Wad*, a young white man who
resides about eight miles from the city
on the Wrlghtehoro Road, is being
held In the Richmond County jail in
Augusta on a charge of murder. It
is alleged that he Is responsible for
the death of Will Goodwin, who lived
near Wade.
Goodwin Is a married man and
Wade Is single It is said that for
some time In recent raat there have
been some family troubles However,
only two or three days ago the two
men were apparently on friendly
terms, as Goodwin Is said to have
pulled some fodder for Wade. He
also spent that night at Wade's
house

funeral services will be conduct

terment will follow In the Pierce
Chapel cemetery.
