M. and Close at 6:30 P. M. City Time-- In Country Polls to Open at Eight and Close at Three P. M. The primary of August 19th is less than a week off. By Wednesday night of next week Georgians will have expresed their choice for governor, United States senators, con gressmen and many other officials. Chairman T. F. Harrison, of the sub committee of the Richmond county democratic executive committee, has received the official ballot for the pri mary from the state, executive com mittee. He will add to it the names of the candidates for judge of the su perior court, congressmen from the 10th district, and representatives from Richmond county in the legislature. The polls will open at 7:30 a. m. and close at 6:30 p. m. in the city, city time, which will be 7 a. m. and 6 p. m. sun time. In the country districts the polls will open at eight a. m. and close at three p. m., sun time. The following wil be the location of the voting places in the city: First ward, Telfair street, just below Third street. Second ward, Telfair street, near courthouse. Third ward, Telfair street near Dav idson school. Fourth ward. Greene street just off from Broad. Fifth ward, Pearl Avenue, just off from Broad. Sixth ward, Walton Way, Just below sixth ward police station. The interest in the various races is reaching the fever heat stage. SHOTS ACROSS BOWS BY 2 CRUISERS Norweigan Vessel Hailed Twice in Night By Different War ships Off Nantucket New York. The strictness of the patrol established by the British cruis ers outside New York harbor was demonstrated by the experience of the Norwegian tank steamer Conrad Mohr, which reached here today from Bergen and Shields. The steamer's captain Raid he was hailed last night by a three funnelled cruiser Apparently the steamer did not stop or reply as quickly aH the cruiser desired, for a shot was fired across her bow within a short Inter val of time. The steamer left on her trans-Atlantic trip before war waa dcil;,red and her officers were aston ished at the summary action of the cruiser. They stopped Immediately hut were permitted to proceed after establishing the steamer's identity. At 1 o'clock this morning, three hours later, another cruiser exactly like the first encountered, bore down close alongside the steamer, fired a shot and asked for the steamer's name and nationality. When these were given the steamer was told to go ahead. The Conrad Mohr was west of Nantucket when she was hailed by the first cruiser and off Montauk when the second stopped her. Surgeon Summoned.
