Sausage Omelet. Roil four sausages
until tender. Chop fine and add to two
beaten eggs and two tablespoons of
milk Turn into a pan and fry. Fold
hs an ordinary omelet.
LUNCHEON
Clam Scallops—Chop fifty clams fins
and rain off In a colander all the liquid
that will come away. Mix this in a
bowM with a cupful of crushed cracker,
half a cup of milk, two beaten eggs, a
tablespoon melted butter, half a tea
spoon of salt, a pi rich of mace and the
name of cavnne pepper. Beal Into this
the chopped clams and fill with the mix
ture clam shells. Bake to a light brown
In . quick oven.
DINNER
Jellied Potato Salad Fill individual
rnoldn with two cups of cold boiled po
tatoes, that have been cut In small
pieces. Add a tablespoon of vinegar
and two sweet peppers cut In small
pieces Pour over all a sour lemon
Jelly. When cold turn out and serve on
lettuce with a mayonaise dressing.
Italian Steak#-—Chop together an
equal portion of raw beef and veal. Add
a teaspoon of lemon Juice and the same
of chopped onion Mix together with a
beaten egg and let stand two hour*.
Form into small steaks and pan broil.
Watermelon Ice Cut a melon In
halves, scoop out the red meat and re
move the seeds. Use the wat?r that
collects In each half and pulp flesh arid
water together In a bowl, adding one
cup of granulated sugar. Pack Into a
freezer and turn a few' minutes until It
Is frozen like soft snow, and serve at
once.

war. It was said export demand was
active. The opening which was 1-4 to
1 1-4 higher was followed by an addi
tional ascent averaging nurtv than 2
• •cuts all around compared with last
night.
Corn swung upward with wheat. After
shirting 1-8 off to 3-Bal-2 higher prices
scored a moderate general gain. Un
abated export call had a bullish effect
on oats.
Soaring of wheat prices had no rerl
ous check until after six cents or more
had been added to some values. The
close was unsettled at an advance of 5
to 5 7-8 net.

above last night

penses, and for payment for such ex
penses of other persons In favor of
whom a contract may be made with Ihe
corporation, and to provide a plan and

expenses of all persons whom It may
take for members or with whom It may
contract; and to make such contracts

be necessary as to the payment of ad
