' - ’ II . ■ SAVANNAH AGAIN WINS THE SALLIE LEAGUE PENNANT Albany Was Defeated For the “Rag” Yesterday, the Indians Winning Fourth Game of Series By a Score of Four to Three-- The Lipemen Clearly Outfielded Babies at All Stages of the Game Albany, .Ga. —Savannah defeated Albany for the pennant yesterday by winning the fourth game of the series by a score of 4 to 3. The visitors clearly outfielded the locals at all stages of the game and i were dangerous on the bases, taking of every chance. Their ‘lnside baseball was superior to the [locals and they deserved to win. Wolfe [started for the visitors and was hit {for two runs in the first inning. At [the start of the second he was yanked ;in place of Smallwood who was in | vincible until the ninth, though steady Yielding pulled him out of several tight places. Williams was hit opportunely while ithe locals erred in the pinches. A !long running catch by Manush fea tured the game. More than 1,400 peo ple attended yesterday’s game. The box score: Savannah.
