The old school building formerly occupied by the BJackvllle graded school will he converted to a bonded warehouse, the cotton purchased to t,o stored therein and warehouse receipts Issued therefor. The project of said association la to reHeve the small farmers from ruin on account of the extremely low price of cotton, and cotton Is the chief product raised In this country. It Is Ihe purpose of this association lo place the cotton In a bonded ware house, take a warehouse receipt there for and hold aame until a reasonable profit Is Insured to the purchasers. However, the said holding or storage will be subject to the absolute and ex clusive control of the respective pur chase! a; further, each purchaser mav exercise the liberty or option of hav lug the cotton Insured at his own ex pense. This assoclaHon, stimulated by the action of large business houses, will seek aid from their wholesale houses, Jobera and manufacturers In the North, Hast and West, to purchase one or more bales Ht len cents per pound tn Blackville and hold It here until the market price advances >o that figure or better.
