Annual Election of
First Baptist Club
The Young People’s Club of the first
Baptist church pulled off one of their
celebrated luncheons Thursday after
noon at six fifteen, and assessed the
members the usual charge for same,
which was fifteen cents a head. It Is
the pride of the young lady members
of this club, that they can give so
good a lunch at so cheap a price per
capita (whatever that is).
The annual spirited election of
members was also held with the fol
lowing results:
President—Miss Bertrand Perritt.
Vice-Pres—Mr. Hickman Smith.
Secretary—Miss Anna Ellse Wilson.
Treasurer—Mr. Bertram Rupert.
Several new members allied them
selves with the club, and much pro
gress was reported. As the price of
lettuce sandwiches has not materially
advanced, the committee on eats be
lieves that It can continue to serve
those Incomparable lunches for those
same fifteen cents.
