CHICAGO GRAIN MARKET
Chicago, Ills. —Bullish wheat sentiment
today was based to a considerable extent
on assertions that export business was
of greater volume than had been gen
erally believed. Opened 3-8 off to 1-4
up, suffered a moderate decline then
rose to well above last night's level
all around.
Corn swayed with wheat. Opened un
changed to l-Bal-4 lower then scored a
slight general gain.
Oats followed the course of other
grain.
Provisions went lower with hogs.
A decided wheat break occurred on a
large Increase of the total of stocks on
hand in the United States and Canada.
Closed weak 1 1-8 to 1 3-8 net lower.
Subsequently corn sagged on predictions
that the government reported tomorrow
would show an Increase of 50,000,000
bushels In the Indicated yield. Closed
steady 7-9 to lc under last night.
