Hundreds of the reserve seat tick ets fell Into the hands of speculators who are asking $35 for a seat of three $5 tickets. The price for a set of $3 seats was $25 and for three $2 tickets sls was asked. Several ar rests already have been made and the Athletic management announced that they would prosecute the prisoners. Biggest of Demands. Never before, it was said, has there been such a demand for admission to the big games. Both Connie Mack and George Stallings today expressed confidence in the outcome of the series. All the players of both teams were said to be in the best of condition. While neither manager has inti mated who would pitch the first game it was generally believed that the honor would fall to Bender of the Athletics and Rudolph or James for Boston. Last Workout*. Both teams planned to have their rinal workouts today. Manager Stal lings had requested the use of Shlbe Park for this afternoon and It was reported that he declined to use the grounds for practice at all when Con nie Mack refused his request. Mack had offered him the grounds for two hours this morning but declared he had planned for the Athletics to ap pear at Shlbe Park at 2 o’clock, the hour set by Stallings for his afternovn practice.
