TO BAR LIVE STOCK ON SWAINSBORO STREETS Swaintbore, Ga.—We hate to be forced to say It, but It la a fact that Instead of keeping forging ahead In this as well as other matters, Sw&lns boro has jumped ten years backward In the matter of now allowing stock to run at large on the streets Instead of impounding them as has been the custom for several years. This la not only filthy and detrimental from a sanitary standpoint, but it Is very trying to the majority of our citizens, and especially the ladles, having to be pestered day and night by a lot of old cows, horses, goats, hogs and other animals. Ws have not taken the pains nor trouble to Investigate who Is responsible for this condition of thing*, but whoever It Is should move to the Ogeechee or some other swamp, and spend their day* among ths coon*, 'possums and other such varmints.—Forest Blade.
