But Isn't It possible for the young lady to find out when we are connected, without our having to call her up and tell her so? The second complaint Is much more serious, and practically Inexcusable. I call a number, get it, transact mV business, say good-bye, and hung up the receiver Then I want another number. I take off the receiver and wait a long lime. At length I hear Central say: "I'm ringin' ’em!" Befo rp 1 can say a word she Is gone, and In a moment my same number answers again. I have to apologize and say I arn trying to get Central.
