The start, 1-8 to 1-2 higher, was followed by other moderate gains. Corn hardened on account of wet weather and as a result of wheat strength. After opening 1-8 to 3-8 up it seemed Inclined to hold to the top level leached. Kxrort sales put firmness into oats. Provisions advanced. Kepoi ,s that Portugal had declared war on Germany. led to still holier wheat prices. The dose was trong at 1 1-2 to 2 1-8 above last night.
