CHICAGO GRAIN MARKET
Chicago—Wheat bulged today on high
er quotations at Liverpool and because
of yesterday's large export sales on this
side of the Atlantic. After opening 3-8
to 3-4 higher and scoring a little fur
ther rise the market receded to last
night's level.
Wet weather proved only a temporary
source of firmness In corn. The open
ing. which rnnged from l-Sal-4 to l-4a
3-8 higher was followed hy a decided
general decline.
Oats held comparatively steady.
Decrease in the Chicago stock of lard
gave added support to provisions.
Fresh export demand of Drge propor
tions led to a sharp rebound In wheat
and It closed steady at 1 to 1 1-8 net
advance. Corn rallied on a material
Improvement In the cash demand and
closed steady 1-8 to l-Bal-l above last
night. ... .. .
