Forced to Join Russian Troops.
A German officer baa reported that
a Huaalan major, on the Kust Prussian
frontier, lorced the Inhabitants of the
village under his control to join the
Huaalan troops tn the trenches and

machine guns. Later this major was
captured and shot by th* Germans.
Communication between th* fortress
