CHICAGO GRAIN MARKET
Chicago, Ills.—After weakness at the
opening the wheat market afterward
rallied today After opening 1-2 off to
1-2 up, the market suffered a material
decline all around, and then recovered
with May scoring a fresh gain, but De
cember not keeping pace.
Favorable weather eased off corn. The
opening which ranged from l-8c lower to
3-8 c rise, was followed by a moderate
sag.
Subsequently the wheat market felt
the weight of heavier offerings and
dropped lower than before. The close
was weak. 1 3-4 to 1 7-8 net lower.
Prospects of an increased movement
of the new corn crop counted against
the bulls. The close was weak at 5-8
to 3-4 under last night.
