Traders other Gian shorts, however, operated with caution and there was some profit-taking by holders when the market showed an advance of 2% cents. The opening ranged from 7a to 2%c above last night. Corn ascended with wheat. After opening %a% to %a% higher the market showed a moderate further gain. Shorts hurried to cover oats as well as other grain. Provisions reflected the same bullish sentiment as cereals. Prospect of a big increase in the United States visible supply total had a lestraining effect on the bulls but did not prevent further hardening of the •wheat market. Closing prices were steady at 2% to 2%a2%c advance. The fact that exports of late have teen larger than first stated helped to sustain the corn advance.
