mand for cash wheat tended today to

Reports of adverse weather In Argentina

After opening 3-Ral-2 off to a shade ad
vance, the market rallied to above last
light’s level all around.
Rumors of good sized exports gave a
illght lift to the corn market. The

ral hardening of values.
Most of the dealings In oats consisted
ft changes from the December option
to May. Bulls had a tittle advantage

DEATHS
DIKES—MRS. ELLIZABETH, died
this morning at 11 o'clock at the
residence of her daughter, Mrs.
G. W. Motgan, 1638 Broad street,
in the 78th year of her age. The
body of deceased will be shipped
to McCormick, S. C., tomorrow
morning at 10:30 o’clock, whefe
the funeral services will take place
at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon,
and the Interment will follow In
the Bethany cemetery. Deceased is
survived by one daughter, Mrs. G.
IV. Morgan, and also by one son,
Mr. P. A. Dikes.

exchange today adopted the following
amendment to the rules permitting lim
ited trading in futures:
“On and after tomorrow and until fur
ther notice sales of May-June American
and May Egyptian may be made without
restrictions except that the price must
not be below the minimum of 4.25 d for
May-June American and 7.06 d for May
Egyptian.”
