Company tomorrow. The exhibit will be made by the Employing Printers’ Association, of Augusta, and will con tain specimens of work from six of the leading prlnterle* of the city. By what seems an error, this display has been listed under the heading of the Phoenix Printing Company, when In reality It will embrace speclments of work from the several firms who are co-operating to the end of enlighten ing Augustans as to the high quality of work they are capable of turning out. The exhibit will be nothing less than an education to the business men of the city, for there, are many who are ignorant of the fact that, the printing offices of Augusta are equip ped for doing all classes of work — from the smallest Job to the most ar tistic to be had In any city in the country, and It is for the purpose of acquainting the various firms here BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY OF ART There is not a display on Brosd street during the Buy-at-Home, Tiade at-Home week that is eliciting rrora favorable comment and genera' ex pressions of approval from the thou sands of spectators than the collec tion of handsome photographs in the show window of 1,. J Srhaul and Company's jewelry store, specimens of work of the Tommlns' Studio. Ml'. Tommins Is a gentleman of long ex perience In the photographic art; he is an Augustan In every sense of the word; he believes ill the principle of "Jive at-home; trade at-home" and he has mastered his professlol lo the de gree that no one in this city should feel 11 necessary to send awu] for work In bis line, or feel that to get a supe rior quality of photographs the like ness must be taken by some one else— some out-of-town firm. An Inspec tion of Mr. Tommlns’ display will con vince even the most skeptical that Augusta is not behind an.' of the large cities in her works of art. The Tom mlns pictures are as good as any you will find In the country—lt matters not where von go and a great deal better than tiie majorltyof those turned out by photographers In other cities. LOVELY FLORAL DISPLAY Of the many exhibits of “made-at home" goods shown In Augusta this week, none have elicited more uni versal expressions of approval and admiration than has the display of home-grown flowers from Balk’s Nur sery, now being displayed In the win dow of F G. Mertlns, 852 Broad Street Mr. Balk was anxious to show Au gustans that it was unnecessary to send out of the city for flowers and ferns when he can supply their needs at all times with the very latest and finest quality of cut flowers and pot plants, as well as a variety of ferns. Among the collection to he seen In Mr. Mertlns’ window are specimens of pink carnations, pink roses, yellow and white narcissus, lovely chrysan themums, bride’s llly-of-the-valley shower and other beautiful varieties. The Balk Nursery Is one of the most up-to-date and modern enterprises of the kind In the country for there is not a flower plant nor bloom —in season that cannot be had at this nur sery, which Is located at 234 Greene .Street, and the people of Augusta and surrounding section have realized that their very wish In the flower line can he gratified here. For years It was the custom of many in Augusta to send to near-by cities for their flow ers on occasions of weddings and re ceptions. hut this Is no longer a ne cessity, for at Balk's Nursery the most exquisite blooms and handsome plants KNOW ALL MEN: THAT WALK - OVER MODELS AFFORD THE MOST IN STYLE IN QUALITY IN COMFORT And the Utmost In All Round Satisfaction. In patronizing a home institution you have the consolation of knowing that you are getting the best value for your money, and at the same time you are keeping your dollar In Augusta. If you have hot seen the specimens Mr. Tommins has on dis play, you should call today and see for yourself the character of work he is capable of giving his patrons. can be had at all times, and at prices that are as reasonable as you can get from any florist In the state. Mr. Balk gives the business his personal attention and from the long list of regular customers he has on file It would indicate that those who have patronized him have been thor oughly satisfied with their treatment, the character of flowers and plants obtained and the prices charged. Augustans, especially the ladles, are requested to see the exhibit from Balk's Nursery in the window of F. G. Mertlns, and thus be convinced that there Is nothing obtainable from a modern nursery or floral garden that cannot be supplied by this enterpris ing and progressive firm. A KITCHENETTE.
