Bearish ad vices also were received from Argentina the weather there having turned fine and warm, xactly as desired for the harvest. After opening 1-4 to 5-S lower the market suffered a slight further de cline. Hedging sales weakened corn. Predic tions that husking in Illinois would he finished before Thanksgiving counted against any rally. The opening which ranged from 1-8 to l-2a5-S lower was followed by a continued sag. Seaboard demand helped to steady oats. The market nevertheless display ed sympathy with the downward course of other cereals. Provisions ere firm in li e with the hog market. There was some scattered local and Southern selling around the opening prices and the latter months eased off a point or two but there was continued covering by December shorts and the strength of the near position served to steady the bait .ice of the list. December sold up to 7.31 or five points net higher before the end of the first hour while spring and summer deliveries ruled about one to four points net higher. After selling about four to twelve points net higher the market turned a shade easier under realizing and in creased offerings of December. The crowd seemed inclined to sell the new contracts but the demand for December catues a hestßation.
