Hsrrisburg, Pa,—Forest fires In Pennsylvania have so far this year caused damage estimated at more than $450,000, according to a summary made up by the state department of forestry. Schneider at the corner of Sixth and Broad Streets, and one of the best known colored men In this city or section passed away last night. Uriah was respected by both white and colored people, lie was a very Intelligent man and had a great many friends. He Is survived by three daughters and two sons. Recently he had been working at the Hofhrau. When the prohibition law went into effect in Georgia, January 1, 1908.
