Annual Installation Service at the St.
James Church, Sunday Morning.
A .very interesting and impressive
service will be held at* St. James’
Methodist Church during the morning
hour Sunday, December 20th. Tills
will be the occasion of the annual In
stallation of the board of stewards
and the board of trustees. While this
is not a lengthy service and does not
interfere with the regular hour's
worship, yet it is a most impressive
service. Theis are approximately 60
stewards and trustees to be installed
Sunday morning, and when thfla. men
advance and stand about the chancel
rail to receive the solemn and helpful
charge from their pastor, Pr. Walter
I:. Dillard, it will indeed be a momen
long to be remembered riot only by
i the officers of the church, but also
,by the entire congregation.
The elaborate program of Christmas
| music prepared by Mr. Rob Irvin, the
| organist and choir director, assisted
Jby Signor G. Punafo, will be divided
| into two parts: The first part will he
rendered at the morning hour, and the
second part to be given at the even-
I ing hour. This Christmas music is
an annual event, of St. James, and is
looked forward to by many with
pleasant anticipations. The publish
ed program below speaks for itself.
Or. Dillard's talks will be in keep
ing with the musio and the joyous
