RALLY.
The Quarterly Temperance Rally
of the Woodlawn W. C. T. U. will take
place this Sunday morning at eleven
o’clock at Woodlawn Methodist
church.
The Methodist and Baptists
churches of Woodlawn meet together
on this occasion, alternating in thd
pace. This morning the Sunday
school of the Baptist church will form
in line and march to the Methodist
church to participate In the services
for which an Interesting program has
been arranged.

A series of parties has been planned
in honor of Miss Martha Coleman, of
Augusta, who arrived Wednesday aft
ernoon to be the guest of Miss Vir
ginia Lipscomb until after the Thanks
giving holidays.
Mrs. William D. Ellis, Jr., will give
an informal supper party for her Tues
day evening.
Miss Marian Atchison will entertain
for her at the tea-dance at the Pied
mont Driving club on Wednesday aft
ernoon, November 21.
Miss Lipscomb will give a party for
her at the Thanksgiving dinner-dance
at the Druid Hills Golf club on Wed
nesday evening.
Miss Isabel Robinson will give her
a party at the dinner-dance at the
Piedmon Driving club on Saturday
evening, November 27-
Other informal affairs are being
planned in her honor, and in addition
Miss Coleman will attend the various
