That’s the point, and it wfll do you
good to remember it. Jane, my dear,"
Martha replied. 'And here’s another
point People are fussing already about
the status of the women worker under
new peace conditions. Well, if she
wants a status worth having. she
would better begin to fix it herself.
And 1 wish t ogoodneks that same*

Martha, who is a suffragist, and a fem

trouble with all women who work is
that they never look to see where
they’re' headed for. They do today's
task, well or poorly, according to their

where they will he at the end of the

ORONANGE TEAM OFF
TO MEET GREENLEAF
(By Ellis Conrad.)
The football squad of the Ordnance
Training Camp left last evening for
Chattanooga, Tenn., where they will
meet the Camp Greenleaf eleven, the
only service team in the South that
has gone through the season winning
every game.
The outcome of this struggle should
decide without a doubt the represen
tative eleven of the South, as both
teams have put away all contenders
or have defeated teams who had al
ready set aside elevens that could not
he met. due to the short season. Camp
Greenleaf includes on its list ot vic
tims the elevens of Camp Gordon,
whom they swamped 27 to 7; Charles
ton Navy Yard, who went down be
fore them 18 to 0, while the Ordnance
“Maroons” put out of the way the
contending college aggregations.

best answer to the charge that he had
fostered 111-will toward the South.
Mr Long said that in congress Gover

"Any Southern member wrho eve*' sat

After reviewing the facts in connection
with a request for on extradition to!
West Virginia which was refused by
Governor. McCall, and describing the ex
