101 TONIC
Bringing Relief to Folks Who
Have Malaria and Making Its
Proprietors Nationally Prom
inent.
The G. B. Williams Co., Quitman,
Ga., bids fair to become one of the
largest drug manufacturers in the
I'nited States. This concern, up to
1912, was unknown except in a small
area. Its rapid growth is due to the
immense popularity of its No. 101
Tonic, which is a scientific remedy for
malaria and a general health builder of
wonderful value. As much as one hun
dred and fifty gallons a day is bottled'
in this firm's factory and for many
months it has been difficult to keep up
with the demand for the Tonic. Drug
gists sell it.—adv.

DR. BLACKWOOD TALKS
' ON “MEN OF POWER"
Dr. Blackwood’s Friday morning ser
mon on “Men of Powef” was particular
ly interesting to the large congregation
who heard him. Among other things,
he said:
“The modern man is interested in # pow
er of every sort, and especially in power
of manhood. Woodrow Wilson and Lloyd
George and Clemeneeau and Mazarky all
appeal to us because* of their power, and
we ask their secret,
“We modern men ought to be interest
ed in the Bible, for it shows men of
spiritual power. This morning let us look
at Peter and John. They had power to
do things. They had power of speech,
and that often more difficult power of
endurance. The most practical and the
most heroic men of every age have often
been the most religious. What is the
secret of their power?
“If you could have asked these strong
men they would have told you that the
secret was not in themselves. They
were not strong by nature, and were not
highly educated, but their power came
from God, through His Holy Spirit. He
works through men and women, and He
does His mightiest work through those
who give themselves to Him.
“A Christian is a man filled with the
power of Jeusus Christ, which is the pow
er of faith. These men grew strong by
feeding on their Bibles and by prayer.
Then th£*y used their power in making
our world Christiah.
“You and I can have such power if we
use ib in the work of the Lord. Any
man Fan grow spiritually strong.”

THIRD OF GOTHAM BABIES
FOUND UNDER WEIGHT
New York. —Records of child health
organizations made public today show
that at b ast 33 per e- nt of tin children
of the city are more than 5 per cent un
der weight. The report declares that
these underwcTv'ht children are suscep
tible to contagious diseases and explains
why epidemics sweep the city at various
times of the year.
“If a child is below the proper weight
after it reaches the ago of 12," the re
port says, “the chances are much against
it ever becoming normal". The high per
centage of rejections under law bear out
this statement. It' those who were re
jected h-'d been tifight the laws of health

I the most interesting tiling in their lives
they would have become soldiers and
