NOTICE mm PUBLIC
Monday We Will Inaugurate
Two Deliveries Daily
Ist Delivery Daily
9 C’Clock A. M.
Last year when our Government reauested that the stores make one delivery daily, no man, no woman, no
business hesitated. The Government made this demand—and it remained with the Augusta public and stores to
respond quickly and patriotically to which they gladly complied.
Men and worn - n were sensibly alert to the prevailing conditions and acted accordingly— never a question
asked. The A, & P. store together with other local stores, regardess of monetary results, did as Unce Sam sug
gested—instituted a one-delivery daily. Now that the war is over and won, we feel injustice to ourselves, the
public and our patrons that we can again inaugurate our twice daily deliveries as before the war and accordingly,
effective Monday morning our deliveries will be made as above. We will continue to maintain quick and depend
able delivery service and we shall be glad to serve you.
