New Year celebration in an automobile
driven by Wm. A. Kinder, a public ac
countant. Miss Fitz Hugh had Men vis- '

turned from a theatrical engagement in
England. The car skidded on the V’alnut
street bridge, crashed into the rail and
threw M PR Fitz Hugh over the rail and
down to the Pennsylvania railroad tracks
below. Her skull was fractured and she
was instancy killed. Miss Fitz Hugh
was greeted by critics as a dis’lnot

Mariposa Gilroy. Previously she had ap
peared in minor roles.
