O O
THAT—

wife and small daughter has
been visiting Augusta relatives
and who left today for At
lantic City on his way to New

travelers In the states. Mr.
Starr la a bank man, covering
all the states in the union in a
business way and then travels
some elsewhere. He Is 100 per
cent American despite the fact
that he was born In England,
educated In France, Belgium
and Brussells, and thinks
America the greatest country
in the world. He has been to
England thirty-three times, to
Africa fifteen times, to Austra
lia twenty-one times and Japan
and China six times. Iceland
and Labrador are two of the
few countries he has never vis
ited.
THAT—
Summing up some of the
delegates to the recent state
convention Business and Pro
fessional Women's Clubs she
would say that May Doyle, of
Atlanta, was one of the most
attractive young women at the
convention of Business and
Professional Women.
THAT—
Dora Mendes has one of the
most sweet and persuasive
voices she ever heard. Mrs.
Forest was the outstanding fig
ure of the convention.
THAT—
That he would not take a
case on which Stella Aken has
the opposite side for he would
stand no chance of winning It.
THAT—
Klslo Reynolds Is a most lik
able young woman.
THAT—
Miss Mamie Merrell, of
Thomasvllle, la the personifica
tion of gruclousness.
THAT—
Irene Kauffman is Jolly good

THAT—
Zada Barrett, of Savannah,
will win friends wherever she
