Has Novel Features
There are several novel features
to this black crepe outfit. One is
the new high collar which reveals
a white facing giving the effect of
the old tournover collar that passed
out of favor a decade or so ago.
Another is the sleeve slashed at
the cuff as a relief from the plain,
long line. Another is the circular
sections inserted at the closing to
vary the silhouette. White facings
and triangular sections of white
silk are effectively used, as a relief
for the black material.

MY NEIGHBOR SAYS.
To make potatoes look white and
floury, boll in as little water as
possible, strain and take at once
to an open door. Give the potatoes
a vigorous shake in the saucepan
and let it. remain uncovered at the
side of the fire for five minutes
before serving.
Always empty the water out of
the kettle after using it and rinse
It thoroughly, In this way prevent
ing filling with thicy white sedi
ment from forming nt the bottom
and caking the sides of the kettle.
When making a cake always re
member that the sugar and butter
should be beaten to a. cream, then
the yolks of the eggs added,
then the milk, next the flavoring,
the beaten whites and lastly the
flour and baking powder.
When making peppermints wax
paper is much better to drop them
on than a pan. When the wax pa
per Is placed In a pan and made to
fit the corners It Is very nice to
pour candy Into, ns It comes out
easily when cool. When put In cake
pans the cakes come out without
baeklng.
After you have cleaned the win
dows in the susual way, rub a little
turpentine on the glass and then
polish with a soft cloth. You will
find the flics will avoid them.

sweetness, so dear to all children, are
the precious food elements they most need.
For unlike many of the foods of today,
the delicious goodness of Brer Rabbit is not

Pure juice of the cane, Brer Rabbit con

Like spinach, Brer Rabbit is rich in iron;
like milk it furnishes the lime to make
strong bones and teeth. No wonder grow

There is no waste to Brer Rabbit; with
