My! What an Improvement
It DOES Make
—in the flavor of hot breads, muffins, waffles, biscuit, pancakes,
cookies, cakes —when you use pure BUTTERMILK, rather than
just sour milk or sweet milk in your baking.
Buttermilk — GOOD buttermilk —gives these daily delicacies a
tastiness all its own. It brings out the aroma. It introduces a very
definite appetizing quality that nothing else seems to give.
But —having liquid buttermilk always on hand is
almost next to impossible. Most of the time it simply
isn’t there when you want it. Many good cooks forego
its advantages on this account. It is so much handier to
reach for a can of baking powder.
NOW, however, all your former inconveniences
in the matter of buttermilk can be forgotten. Now
you can ALWAYS bake with buttermilk —because
of a new scientific product— HUNT’S CONCEN
TRATED BUTTERMILK —which is pure, fresh, raw
buttermilk condensed and packed, for your con
venience, in a can.
NOW —with Hunt’s on your pantry shelf, you
can reach for a can of buttermilk just as easily as
for a can of baking powder. It is always there,
ready for instant use, and you can use it as you
want it. No waste. It doesn’t spoil. Hunt’s Con
centrated Buttermilk KEEPS INDEFINITELY.
So much more dependable, too, than ordinary
buttermilk—because Hunt’s Buttermilk is uni
formly sour. Your cooking result is always good,
because you know just how sour your buttermilk
is—and exactly how much soda to use.
And pure —absolutely so —Hunt’s is pasteur
ized and condensed immediately after churn
ing. It is given twenty-one exhaustive purity ,
tests between churning and packing. //>
