Modesty Is Charming
- but health is vitql jiPtj!
Qroiving girls should realize elimination
is necessary; constipation dangerous.
Mothers, urge use of Dr. Cald
ivelVs Pepsin Syrup
QTHE world is broadening
and there is less excuse for
prudery today than ever before. Par
ents and school teachers are helping
by telling their children the funda
mental facts of life.
The growing girl, therefore, who
neglects the important function of
elimination is living in a past age. She should
realize that when days go by and there is no
passage the general health is impaired, the
monthly function is interfered with and fatal
illness may result.
Mothers would do well to watch adolescent
daughters for they, more than young boys, are prudish
m this regard. Elimination should occur once a day,
and if it does not, a spoonful of Dr. Caldwell’s Syrup
Pepsin should be given. You will thus prevent in
testinal poisoning and constipation and their train
of disorders, sallow skin, pimples, lassitude, bad
breath, headache and so forth.
Mrs. Jesse Maxey, 106 Third street,
Aurora, Ind., and Mrs. Pat McCullough, Tampa,
kla., regularly use Syrup Pep
sin in their households, and
as a result their families are
free from sickness.
It is not without reason
that Dr. Caldwell’s Syrup Pep
sin is today the most widely used
liquid laxative in the world,

my thanks, as well as those of the

After the warm reception I met
with In Augusta, and the no less
warm recetlon ot our committee nt

will be passing strange if the rep

be below our reasonable expecta

You were kind enough to say that
you wou'd call a meeting of the
President’s Club, in order that the
respective organizations in tlie city
should be acquainted with this mat

sincerely appreciate. At this meet
ing, will you please extend invita

respective heads. We are not at all
concerned that thp Interest may be
too great, as we shall be more than
glad to have with us on that day
every member of ever organization
in your city, if such were possible.
I believe I told .you that Dr. An
drew J. Soule, of the State College
of Agriculture, would make the
principal talk of the day. We, of
course, will want a short speech
from some one of you.
Please have the football game ad

as It will not be possible to use

Again assuring you of my appre
