With all the present confusion, misunder
standing and general lack of*information
on the subject of tire buying, one might
think Abraham Lincoln coined his famous
phrase after an experience in tire buying.
The truth of what he said as applied to
tires is best summed up today in this state
ment of fact:
More people ride on Qoodycar Tires than
on any other kind.
Of course the?e is a real reason.

Electric Ray to Restore Health
DR. JOHN CLAWSON BURNIOTT AND HIS OSCILLOOLAST.
ABOVE DR. BURNETT'S "CASTLE'’ WHERE HE CONDUCTS
HIS EXPERIMENTS.
ALriNE, N. J. —From the queer
doorways of the white, cubist
shaped "mystery laboratory" of the
Jersey Palisades there has step
ped a young scientist with what
lie believes to he the key to the
fountain o£ health.
Dr. J. Clawson Burnett is his
name and, with J. H. Hallberg, an
engineer, 110 has been tor two years
carrying on secret experimenta
tions seeking a fundamental elec
trical law govrening^iite.
They have tried to prove the
practicability of the atomic theory
as applied to the human body.
In this respect the laboratory
seems to have been haunted by the
ghost of the late Dr. Albert Abrams,
of San Francisco, whose electronic
reaction machines created a furor
in medical circles. A Scientific
American investigation declared it
impractical shortly after Abram's
death.
But Dr. Burnett has contrived a
new oecilloclast, designed to heal
disease by electric force, and has
had the co-oiteration of an expert
electrical engineer. They are going
to demonstrate their device before
scientists in Chicago and invite
strictest investigation.
Dr. Burnett declares he has no
commercial interest. He is quite
wealthy. If science declares Ills
device to bo valuable the world is
welcome to it.
“In contracting our machine we
worked on the theory that light Is
of primary importance,” ho ex
plained. “Therefore vibrations are
of primary importance. I think we
are at liberty to assume that the

Baby Cried and
Fretted All Day
That Teethlna, the wonderful lax
ative and stomach corrective, is the
safest medicine for keeping babies
and children healthy is conclusively
proved by tho hundreds of letters con
stantly being received from happy
and grateful mothers who have given
It to their little ones.
Among others praising It Is Mrs.
A A. Barr, Route 2, Clayton, Ala.,
who writes: “I began giving Teethlna
to my baby at 8 months and kept it
up all through teething time.
“He might be crying and fretting
all day, and at bed time I’d give him
a doso of Teethina and he would
sleep fine and wake up in the morn
