Good to the Last Drop
I I
WHEN crisp autumn days stir
the gypsy in your blood and
every broad highway calls and
every winding lane whispers "Fol
low me”—then the brimming cup
of Maxwell House Coffee seems
more than ever "Good to the Last
Drop.”
At your table or on the road —in
cups of Dresden or tin, the flavor
and goodness of Maxwell House
Coffee is unvarying.

Buttermilk
just right for baking
Sour enough and not too sour
Because of the better cooking results she knows she
can get, any good cook would always use buttermilk
in baking if it were handy, if she could tell how sour
it was at the time of using. But, buttermilk in fluid
form varies. You can never be sure about the neces
sary amount of soda.
That makes for uncertainty in results. On this ac
count many women forego the delicious possibilities
of buttermilk in baking.
To get away from just this difficulty—and to give
to you a buttermilk, the uniform sourness of which
you can always absolutely depend upon—a new form
of buttermilk has been perfected Hunts Concen
trated Buttermilk. This is a pure,raw buttermilk,fresh
from the churning, condensed, and packed in all its
natural purity in a handy can, for your greater con
venience.
In sourness, Hunt’s Concentrated Buttermilk is
the same, alwaya It does not vary but the smallest
fraction of one percent. It is stabilized by condensing.
There is no uncertainty or guesswork when you use
it. In baking with it, the amount of soda to use is
never a question.
HUNTS
CONCENTRATED
BUTTERMILK
And—from the standpoint of purity and wholc
someness, between Hunt’s Buttermilk and the
article the milkman brings you, or even the
sweet milk you drink and use, there simply
isn’t any comparison. Hunt’s Concentrated But
termilk is infinitely more pure than either. Its
bacterial count is 100 per cubic centimeter
■gainst 10,000 in the best certified sweet milk.
Twenty-one tests are made for purity and con
sistency between churning and packing.
Keeps fresh, too. It doean't spoil. The lest tesspoonful ol
Hunt's is at fresh as the hour you opened the can even if it
stay* for weeks in your pantry. Cookies and doughnuts—
cakes, muffins, pancakes, waffles —are delis»ous indeed
when made with pure, fresh buttermilk. Make them with
Hunt’s Concentrated Buttermilk and they melt in your
south. Your results are 50?• better!
