The directors of the Georgia-Caro llna Fair association are now making definite plans for the fair which will be held in Augusta the first week In November, and at their meeting Friday night signed up the first con tract for the new season. This was for an open air free attraction and (he feature will be aerial performers, said to be (ho most daring in exist ence. Other attractions of like char acter are planned and as soon as Secretary Frank E. Beane secures the terms they will pass upon them. Chairman C. D. Garrett, of the amusement and privilege committee, outlined his plan for automobile day. and while he could not give the di rectors Information in the wav of prizes, he advised them that quite a large sum would be needed, but that he felt sure It would bo a good in vestment. The farmers clubs throughout the Savannah valley are preparing for the fair and those in charge of the work declare that the displays which will ho made will be (he best ever seen in this section of the country. The livestock feature of the fair lias not received much attention up to date, but it is understood that lids will be much belter than 11 has ever been, as farmers in this section are now devoting much lime to Ibis branch of farming.
