Heath on the property of the Augusta Motor Co., doing business on the 700 block of Ellis street. The amount of indebtedness is said lo he SOS due for rent. The constable levied on 14 automobiles and every fixture in the shop. Persons have been to Judge Ben nett since the warrant was issued and five have claimed their automobiles that were in the shop for repairs. The ease will be tried in the October term of court. An alarm was rung in from box 43 Saturday about 12:45 o'clock. The fire was in a four-room house in Hel mut!) alley, just off Twiggs street, and was caused by sparks on the roof. The damage was $35. MR GEORGE RICHMOND KILLED BY ACCIDENT Was Pi'ominent in the Electrical World and Well Known. Friends here will regret to learn of the death of Mr. George Richmond, who was killed in an elevator acci dent last Tuesday at 3 p. m. in Mem phis, Tenn. Mr. Richmond was prom inent in the electrical world and was a young man of sterling worth. He had just reached his twenty-fourth year, and his untimely end is deeply deplored by a large circle of friends in Memphis and elsewhere. Mr. Richmond was the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Richmond, of Mem phis. Mrs. C. W. Richmond is well known throughout the South in liter ary and religious circles, being the founder of the Society of Confederate Dames, and is one of the best known club women in Tennessee, and is sec retary by Bishop Oailor's appointment of Mission Sunday Schools of West Tennessee.
