Mathis The pretty home of Mr. and Mrs. T ' as the scene of a beautiful mar was the scene of a beautifuln mar rage ceremony yesterday afternoon when Miss Bessie Louise Walker and Mr. C. H. Mathis, of Biackville, were happily married by the Rev. Mr. Pitts of Biackville, S. C. Never before has Mrs. Boatwright's artistic skill been shown to a more perfect advantage than on this occa sion in the decorations of her home. The parlor where the ceremony was performed was all in bridal whiteness ard simply abloom with quantities of lilies, stately white roses and br'ght faced cosmos blossoms. The stirring tones of the wedding march announced the entrance of the bridal party the two bridesmaids, Miss Etta Walker and Miss Ada Good rich entering. Miss Walker being at tired in a gown of blue silk and Miss Goodrich in a lovely lingerie gown. The bride, who entered with the groom, wore a handsome blue cloth tailor suit, elaborately braided and Irimmed with buttons. Her hat was a becoming black velvet, and her flow ers bride roses. C., where Mr. Mathis is identified with the commercial world on fruit and farming lines. Mrs. Mathis is a niece of Mrs. H. C. Goodrich and of Mr. Allen Boat wright. Sho is originally from Lau rens, S. C., and has made many friends in Augusta, where she has made her home for some time while pursuing her profession of nursing.
