Marriage of Miss Brinson
and cMr. L. D. Parrott
Among the interesting events of
yesterday was the marriage at 8:30
last evening at the home of the
bride's mother, Mrs. A. C. Brinson,
of Miss Lillian Lorine Brinson and
Mr. Louis de Ville Parrott, of Amer
icus, Ga., Rev. Howard T. Cree per
forming the ceremony, which was wit
nessed by the family connections and
a few close friends only.
The entire lower suite of the Brin
son home was beautifully adorned
with fragrant house plants with great
masses of cut flowers whose delicious
perfume filled the house with the
breath of the spring time.
The bride was most attractive in
a gown of soft white mousseline elab

flowers were an armful of lovely
bride roses and trailing ferns that

Don’t Diet For Fat
You have no appetite for gruel, have
you? By the same token, if you scale in
excess of 150 pounds, I know you have no
great liking for gymnasium stunts. As a
rule fat folks are neither athletic nor
ascetic, except under compulsion, and
nowadays they are not under compulsion
to be cither, no matter how necessary it
is for them to reduce. There is a third,
bettor, and surer way of getting rid of
superfluous flesh.
The trouble with both dieting and ex
ercise i- first, the trouoie; second, the
danger fatty heart); third, wrinkles; and,
fourth, stomach disgust. You are liable
to all four if you exercise or diet. On
the other hand, you can sidestep all four,
and still reduce as much or little as you
please, even up to losing a pound a day
if you see fit. by taking a teaspoonful
after meals and at bedtime of the fol
lowing simple home receipts: One-half
ounce Marmola, *4 ounce Fluid Extract
Cascara Aromatic, and 3*4 ounces Pep
permint Water.
Any druggist will fill this prescription
for you cheaply, and you may take it
with perfect confidence that it will do
no manner of harm. Instead it almost
invariably improves the health and, like
wise, the complexion.
