to 1. Hannifan pitched fairly good
ball until his support crumpled, then
he lobbed them over, and Granville’s
heavy hitters didn’t fail to boost
their clout averages, landing on him
for a total of 14 safeties.
McMahon was put out of the game
In the third inning for disputing a
decision of Umpire Van Syckle. Wood
