Valuable Item
for Men
Health and strength hitherto
unknown will be felt surging: in
rich red blood through the ar
teries and veins and life's great
est ambitions may be realized as
never before, if the following
special treatment is followed by
those men, and women, too, who
are stricken with that most
dreaded of all afflictions, nerv
ous exhaustion, accompanied with
such symptoms as extreme nerv
ousness, insomnia, cold extremi
ties, melancholia, headaches, con
st! put ion and dyspepsia, kidney
trouble, dreadful dreams of dire
ful disasters, timidity in ventur
ing and a general inability to
act naturally at all times as
other people do. Lack of poise
and equilibrium in men is a con
stant source of embarrassment
oven when the public least sus
pects it. For the benefit of
those who want a restoration to
full, bounding health and all the
(nippiness accompanying it, the
following Ijnme treatment is

it nt home and no one will be
l,f wiser as to your affliction.
The treatment is simple, thor
ough and correct. Leading drug
gists supply the main tinctures,
extracts and essences in one
ounce bottles, ready to mix. (Jet
three ounces syrup sarsaparilla
compound, mix with one ounce
compound fluid balrmvort, and
stand two hours. Add one ounce
compound essence rardiol, and
one ounce tincture cadomene
compound (not cardamom). Shake
wall and take a teaspoonful after
each meal and one at bedtime.
The ingredients are used for
various prescriptions.

DETROIT/EARS HOODOO
ON ”13TH” OR “FRIDAY”
Detroit.—Bennett. Park Is In good
condition for today’s baseball game,
between Detroit and Chicago, which
marks the postponoff opening of the
league season here. Mullen and Stan
age for Detroit and Walsh and Rulli
van for Chicago are the battery choices
of Manager Jennings and Duffy.
The Detroit players were disap
pointed over yesterday’s postponement.
They fear it means the local season
either must open on “the thirteenth” or
on a Friday. They fear either day
bodes ill for their club.

PRELUDE TO LOHENGRIN.
4he prelude to Lohengrin, which
will be played at the Spring Festi
val, is descriptive of the gradual ap
pearance and disappearance In the
sky of the light of the Holy Grail, that
mystic symbol of the Divine Presence
so fervently believed In early mediae
val times. The music, which begins
with soft chords In the highest regis
ters of the violins, gradually develops
into the theme of the Holy Grail, ris
ing to greater and greater strength
until, at the blazing climax, thundered
forth by trumpets and trombones, the
mystic light of the Grail shedding
its wondrous radiance is seen In the
sky In all its glory. Gradually the
light fades again until the music dies
away with the same A-maJor with
which the .prehide begins.
