INTEREST GROWS IN HERALD’S
MARKET BASKET PAGE CONTEST
. Is Urged Again That Contestants Should Remember the
Point of Accuracy and Correctess.—Look for the Page Next
Friday, the 7th.
Interest in The Herald’s Market
Basket Page continues to grow, and
more nnd more people are sending in
replies to it. Also there are more in
correct replies, chiefly last week in
the manner of the address. Once more
it us urged upon contestants that ac
curacy and correctness should be
more thought of than getting in your
reply first. It is not the first reply
received, but the first correct reply.
The missing words in last Friday's
contest were "of” and "show.”
The word “of should have been
in the Clark Milling company ad be
tween the words “Belle” and "Rich
mond.” The word "show” should
Lave been in the Gas company ad be
tween the words “us” and “you.” By
the way, you cannot possibly get bet

BETTER THAN SPANKING
Spanking does not cur© children of
bed-wetting. There is a constitutional
cause for this trouble. Mrs. M. Sum
mers, Box W, Notre Dame, Ind., will
send free to any mother her successful
home treatment, with full instructions.
Send no money, but write her today if
your children trouble you in this way.
Don’t blame the child, the chances are
it can’t help it. This treatment also
cures adults and aged people troubled
with urine difficulties by day or night.

the Clark Milling company, so well
known as “Belle of Richmond.” Ask
your grocer for it and insist upon get
ting it. And while you are thinking
of good things to eat, remember that
you can not possibly do a wiser thing
than cook with gas. Ask the Gas
Light Company about it. They’ll be
glad to tell you how cheap it is, how
convenient, clean and healthful.
Be sure to read the instructions
each time the Market Basket Page ap
pears. The instructions are some
times changed on purpose. So watch
out next time. And that reminds us
to say that if you have won once you
can still win again. In fact, one of
the winners last week had won one
of the prizes in a previous contest.
The winners for last Friday were:
Mrs. Harry Wiggins, 839 Broad street,
and Mrs. J. P. Campbell, 713 Jackson
street. These two ladies will receive
three dollars each when they call at
The Herald office on Tuesday next
between 12 and 2 o’clock. They should
ask for Mr. Talbott.
If you were not a winner this*time.
perhaps you will be next time. So
watch out for the Market Basket Page
that will appear in The Augusta Her
ald on Friday, July 7th.
