Fads for Weak Women
Nine-tenths of all the sickness of women is due to some derangement or dis
ease of the organs distinctly feminine. Such sickness can be cured —is cured
every day by
Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescription
It Makes Weak Women Strong,
Sick Women Well.
It acts directly on the organs affected and is at the seme time a genera! restora
tive tonic for the whole system. It cures female complaint right in the privacy
of home. It makes unnecessary the disagreeable questioning, examinations and
local treatment so universally insisted upon by doctors, and so abhorrent to
every modest woman.
' We shall not particularize here as to the symptoms of
those peculiar affections incident to women, but those
wanting full information as to their symptoms and
means of positive cure arc referred to the People’s Com

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO FIND A DOLLAR THAT IS WORTH $650?
If You Have a Dollar in Your Pocket Now, Look at if and Think About That $650.
HERE’S THE STORY OR THE DOLL.AR WORTH SC»SO
Cjiarles H. Rodgers, who lives In Chicagro. had until recently a silver dol
lar of the issue of 1804.
s^ver d°N ar . very rare, is valued by the dealers of antique coins at
~,, Somebody stole the dollar from Mr. Rodgers, and as Mr, Rodgers says,
Y'snt out and bought a drink with it.” It grieves Mr. Rogers to
about it ttlat drink. It would grieve the thief also, probably, if he know
, i alarm has been sent out in Chicago, inviting the finder of the valu
able dollar to return ii and earn reward.
. mpn w| ll examine any silver dollar received in change, hoping
to and the daft of 1804, which would change the single dollar into six hun
dred and fifty.
, 'L WOULD EE A GOOD THING IF THE MENT AND WOMEN LOOK.
ING OUT FOR THAT ONE DOLLAR, WHICH IS WO ,TH SIX HUNDRED
AND FIFTY OF ITS KIND, WOULD REALIZE THAT ALMOST ANY DOL
LAR CAN BE WORTH SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS AND A
GREAT DEAL MORE
THEY SAY THAT JOHN D ROCKEFELLER HAS THE FIRST DOL
LAR THAT HE EVER EARNED STILL IN HIS POCKET OR HIS SAFE.
That dollar was worth much more than six hundred and flftv. It was
worth a good many hundreds of millions of dollars. For the fact that Rock
efeller saved I', renllxed its value and power. Is the fact which explains his
having saved so many other dollars and plied them up Into the great fortune
which builds universities, scientific institutions and, at times controls the
Government.
If he had not been able to save that first dollar he would not have saved
the .others.
Take any dollar out of your pocket, look at it and realize what it means.
In that dollar there is a man’s work for a whole day, and there is FOR
YOU freedom from slavery and from poverty for at least one day
T*ok at the dollar, realize that it represents labor, value frozen Into
money. '
KEEP THAT DOLLAR, not in your pocket, hut in THE MERCHANTS
BANK, arid add other dollars to it until you have six hundred and fifty—it
won’t take you long if you once realize that dollars saved mean liberty ' and
freedom .from servility and submission to other men.
When you have your six hundred and fifty dollars you will know that
the dollar you first looked at and thought of was worth Just as much as
that dollar of 180 s and a good deal morn.
You will not find that J 650 coin. It it is found some bartender will prob
ably take it out of his cash register, but the dollar that is In your Docket
now or the . next dollar that you get, may be more valuable to you than the
1804 coin.
Look at it and think about iL Make up your mind to mako that next
dollar received the foundation of a great family of dollars OWNED BY
YOU. Do that, and some dollar without any special date, or history op
value, will be worth more to you than many coins of ISO 4. worth more to you
than ail the coins ih the world—for it will give you peace of mind which
is a blessing far beyond the value of money.
Some of the. men and women who read this will say to themselves “’There
MAY be something in that. 1 believe I will take just one dollar now and
see how many T can add to it,”
Why don't YOU say that and do do it?

the crisp autumn air and while hun
dreds of eager spectators look on more
than one hundred automobiles are ex
pected to pass the grand stand in a
procession. The Augusta Military
band, under the director of Mr. Char
lie Bearden will furnish the music for
the entire fair and it is not thought
that Secretary Beane's selection of a
band could have been Improved upon

class and the football game between
