Be Vigorously Pushed This Week
Two Important Committees Appointed Last Evening, One for
the Manufacturers and Property Owners and the Other
For the Wholesalers.
Despite unfavorable weather condi
tions, the board of directors of tho
Merchants end Manufacturers Assort -
atlon met last evening and pushed
ahead on the organization of the wind
up campaign for the coming week.
The plan adopted waa that of spe
cial committees to call upon certain
classes of Interests. At the same time
the campaign for Individual member
chips will be carried ahead by the
body of active workers who have been
dally turning in returns of their ef
forts Just In the natural course of
business.

ed last evening were us follows:

A special committee of twenty-five
retailers Is In the process of organi
zation, of which Mr. Clarence I-evy la

The allowing in Augusta will h« on
the 27th of February In the Y. M. C. A.
building, and It^- promises to be the

The company is made up of local, na
tional and International circus seers,
and tlie Augusta public is promised
the season's rarest treat when the
big tent Is opened for business on the
above dale.
Tlie big show will be tented in the
gym., wliile throughout the building
will be scattered the side shows, ma
nageries, peanut and hot wtnnles
stands.
The social committee wishes to an
nounce that they have secured at
great expense a big brass band, which
has not been named as yet. One man
was appointed to give it a name, hut
he could not. so a committee will giv».

throughout the entire performance of
the big show and concert. Special at
tentions is hereby called to the con
cert which will follow each of the
two big shows This will positively

Circus is entirely a local company and

General admission to the big show

the big day at the Y. M. C. A. lobby.
Two shows will be given the one
night, at 7: SO and 0:00 p, m.. while the
side shows will iie running all the
time, which, it is said, are the newest
and funniest ever. The big brass
band will furnish music the entire
time, and It is to be a gala event.

MRS. MARY I. BOISCLAIR
DIED IN BIRMINGHAM
The man> friend* In Augusta of
Mis. Mary I. Bolaclair, widow of Mr.
\Y. P. Bolaclair. formerly of Augusta,
will regret to learn of her death, which
occurred in Birmingham, Ala., on 20th
tnat.
Mrs, Bolaclair Is survive 1 by two

Krank 8, and Wm. P. Bolaclair, Mrs.
Maurice l.ovc and Misses Emmie, r.l 1 -
lie and Mamie Bolaclair
The funeral occurred from her late
residence, number 1102 South Thir
teenth street, Birmingham, being con
ducted by the pastor of South High
lands Methodist Church of which she
was a consistent member. She was a
devoted mother, conscientious chris
; tian and a true friend.

HAS A BROKEN ARM
Was Attempting to Crank Au
tomobile When Right Arm was
Broken at Wrist.
The many friends of Dr. T. E
Oertel will regret to learn that his
right arm was broken at the wrist
yesterday afternoon while he was at
tempting to erang his automobile. Dr.
Oertel has suffered much pain from
his injury, but It 1b believed that the
broken bone will speedily unite and
that In a reasonably short time he
will be completely well again.
