points Incontestably to th* comlmt

Every hat seen In Pnrls that 1s wor

At the races many flower hats were
worn among these principally violet
hats, having hat pin heads made of
small colored rose buds and heather

Flower pompoms on the spring

Ing of a becoming hat. Owing to
the fact that nearly all of the left side
of the coiffure Is shown the hats
being worn far down on the right side
of the head- the hair must he arrang
ed soft and low over the brow and
drawn back gracefully, the long ends
of the hair being tucked In at thi
right side of the head with a jet
comb.
The writer had the pleasure of at
tending the hair dressers' ball, which
was recently described In the Paris
and American Journals. The hair
matched the gowns. For Instance a
beautiful green evening gown with a
beautiful coiffure or hair to match,
a blue gown with blue hair, or a pink
gown with pink hair. This was quite
dassling and pleasing to the artistic
eye.
