NOTICE.
All those who intend using tickets
sent them to the euchre party Mon
day night at Knights of Columbus
Hall, with the Daughters of Isabella
as hosts, are requested to communi
cate at once with either of these phone
numbers, 2605-J, or 1383-J, so that the
ladies may get some idea of how
many to prepare for.
Arrangements have been made for
both euchre anil five hundred and the
game will beginpromptly at eight
thirty. Refreshments will be served
during the evening and those who do
not care for cards can dance, as music
will be in attendance.
MRS. CLARK JACK ENTERTAINS
FOR MRS. DARNALL.
Mrs. Clark Jack entertained a num
ber of friends very informally but very
delightfully Friday afternoon in com
pliment to her guest, Mrs. Darnall, of
Baltimore, who returned home yester
day. The entire house was beauti
fully adorned with daffodils which
were used in great quantities, and the
table was especially lovely in pastel
shades, with pale yellow daffodils upd
delicate pink carnations forming an
effective floral adornment. The sli
ver candelabra were shaded in lovely
Dresden shades and all the silver trays
and comports were filled with dainty
bonbons, which further carried out the
pastel shades of the flowers.
Mrs. Jack, wearing a 1 -autiful gown
of cream chiffon over green char
meuse, was assisted In receiving her
guests by Mrs. Darnall, who was very
hapdsome in a gown of white satin
with an overdress of gold chiffon fin
ished with fur.
Assisting in attentions to the guests
