private in Company A. HS7th Pennsylva¬
nia Volunteers. I contracted Chronic Di¬
arrhoea. It has given me a great deal of
trouble ever since, i linve tried n dozen
different medicine* and several prominent
doctors without any permanent relief.
Not long ago a friend sent ine a satnn’e
bottle of Chambi rlain’s Colic. Cholera aud
Diarrhoea Remedy, and after that 1
bought and took 50 cent bottle, and now 1
can say I mn entirely cured. 1 cannot be
thankful enough to you for tids great

Good News from Hortensc.
Let the wickedness of the wicked come
to an end.
We have in our midst the well known
evangelist, Mr. Lee from Florida.
The good people of Horten sc and the
tturroundlug country, are antict, a ing an
out pouring of the spiritual blessings of
Christ upon the people.
Brother Lee and his band of little work¬
ers, geuciully bring about such times, siu
ner» lay dowu 'heir jvewuy arms of rebel¬
lion and seek Christ
Brethren W I)' Middleton and Joe Lew¬
is and otliere have spared no pains in try
Ing to make evetything as comfortable ns
possible for the enjoyment of the people.
All necessary arrangements being made,
the good work commenced Saturday
night. At the 11 o'clock service Sunday,
there was no immense crowd present
Sunday night the crowd was somewha'
diminished as the weather looked rat Iter
gloomy, but, however we enjoyed hearing
the gospel expounded and trust that i'
penetrated the hearts of the hearers.
A new well has been dug within a few
rods of the tent «hich atffods plenty of
good water. ,'•» < :
We are pleased to have Brother R
Hopps of .lesup witli us, who is taking an
active part in the services.
Conte out and hear the great evangelist
preachers, and also the good music, both
vocal and instrumental.
Give me that good old time religion,

that Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Di

stomachache? YY'ell, it floes.” And after
giving this friendly bit of advice, the jol¬
ly conductor passed on down the aisle.
