Directors of the Savannah, Flor
ida & Western Railway Company,
held in the city of New York, this
17th. day of April 1901, the fol
lowing preamble and resolution.

Whereas the Atlantic & Gulf
Railroad Company, the predeces¬
sor of the Savunnah, Florida k
Western Railway. Company, had
under its charter, the right to
build such branch roads as it

sire, which right grid privilege

and this privilege and right was
further confirmed and -xpressly
given to the Savannah
& Western Railway Company by
an Act of this General Assembly
of the State of Georgia, approved
18th, 1881; and
